HARBORFIELDS MIDDLE SCHOOL, NY (Posted 05-28-08)

We have a 0.4 FTE middle school technology teacher position open for 08-09. We could break that down into two 0.2 positions (one class each). I was wondering if you knew of any individuals, retired or otherwise, in Nassau of Suffolk who might be interested.

In terms of retirees, given what is going on with retiree waivers, we might have to stay at the 30K limit, but that would be the equivalent of 75K for the 0.4 (two classes) position. Alternatively, if an individual were interested in just one class (0.2), a waiver would not be needed.

Harborfields is a great place. The kids are a pleasure to deal with.
