Amplified DNA from wild-type and white-eyed flies are separated by agarose gel electrophoresis and analyzed. Includes: complete instructions, PCR beads (Taq polymerase, dNTPs, buffer, MgCl2), Primers, DNA extraction buffer, 200 base pair ladder, Proteinase K, Drosophila flies: Wild type, White eye, Vestigial wing, Microtest tubes, UltraSpec-Agarose(tm) powder, Electrophoresis buffer (50x), 10x Gel loading solution, InstaStain(tm) Ethidium Bromide, 1 ml pipet, and Microtest tubes.
