All aspects of technology impact the environment in some way. Unfortunately, these impacts are usually undesirable and also many times unpredictable. It is the job of the environmental engineer to assess the impacts of a project and prepare impact statements. environmental engineers also plan and carry out studies examining both indoor and outdoor environments to determine the effects of technological projects and process on the air, water and land. This lab provides your students with the opportunity to test, analyze and report on the effects of technology on their school and home environment. Students will use hands-on procedures to test and investigate: Sound Pollution, Water Quality, Air Quality and Soil Quality. |
