This module lets students focus on creative problem-solving and product design rather than outdated skills like G-code programming. The module includes a computer with 17" LCD monitor, Roland MDX-15 milling device, Rhino CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, Roland CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software, teaching guides and a Semester Supply Kit.
Students learn how to:
- Create multiple models using Rhino CAD software.
- Automatically generate tool paths within Roland CAM software.
- Machine prototypes of CAD models with the Roland MDX-15 desktop milling device.
