The activities in this lab will provide students with a step by step guide for installing and configuring a HTTP, FTP and PHP enabled server. The Internet Information Services (IIS) included with the Windows XP professional package is a reliable, powerful and a scalable web server. When configured, it will provide concurrent connections for up to 10 users when hosting one domain. When an FTP server is installed, the system becomes remotely accessible for uploading and downloading files. With the PHP extention is installed, students will now be able to utilize this language option. The activities in the advance product demonstrate the step by step procedures for setting up and configuring a Multi Domain web server that can accept unlimited concurrent users. This lab includes: - Computer (with at least 2.6GHz, 160 Gb HD, 512MB Ram & 17" LCD Display)
