"We recently purchased a Wind Tunnel II from KELVIN©. It is to be used in the electronics program and the new tech lab we are developing at Turlock High School. The relatively large wind chamber allows our students to test various vane and propeller designs on scale wind driven generators. The velcro attached sides which allow full access to both sides are invaluable and the removable/replaceable bottom plate has allowed us to use custom made adapters that enable the testing of devices far beyond the scope of simple airfoils. It is certainly one of the most flexible and competitively priced wind tunnels of its kind. KELVIN© should be applauded for selling their equipment separate from module packages for those of us in the profession who still like to develop our own projects and curricula."

Variable Wind Tunnel for Airfoil and Propeller Design Challenges
The assembled Wind Tunnel features a built-in, variable DC fan blower motor and speed controller. The air intake provides smooth laminar air flow; allowing students to accurately measure lift and evaluate their airfoil design with 41 knots of wind speed. The testing chamber measures 18"Lx8"Wx8"H and the wind tunnel's overall measurements are 69"L x 26"W x 21"H.
Assembled wind tunnel features durable, metal-welding and painted finish. Additional shipping charge via Trucker. Grades 6-College. In addition, an Airfoil Holding Fixture and an Activity Manual are also included.
