ATEC's Geodesic Domes module helps teachers incorporate math, science and technology education concepts with hands-on activities. Science is integrated as students learn about the concepts of strength to weight ratios. Math is integrated as students analyze regular polyhedra and calculate the strut lengths for different size geodesic domes. The kit contains all the materials that students will need to build a room-sized geodesic domes. Includes [90] 3 ft. long dowel rods, plastic connectors and additional plans for building a table-top geodesic dome. Grades K-12. |
