A new package which exposes students to real math concepts in a practical was as they draw and manipulate 3D shapes and models! The basic idea of the aspexTabsMST Design and Mathematics software is that students design a 3D model on the computer screen using a series of simple geometric shapes. The model can be viewed deom any angle or distance and the results printed as modeling NETS which can be cut out, folded and assembled into a real-world object. Students will apply and use the mathematical properties of shapes while planning and constructing real models.
