These products consist of computer software and hardware designed to introduce students in Technology and Science Education to scientific research through data acquisition. Data acquisition is simply the process of gathering information and using that information to solve practical problems. The Challenge Series offers students the opportunity to use a computer and sensors to investigate a variety of solutions to real-world technological problems. As students pursue these solutions, they will be able to use numerous tools, machines, materials and processes in a laboratory setting. This experience will encourage discovery, investigation, collaboration and enjoyment in the teaching-learning process.
The Challenge Series allows students to explore six technological areas: Biotechnology, Manufacturing Technology, Communications Technology, Power-Energy Technology, Construction Technology, and Transportation Technology. |
